Can you think of some things that are around you every day, but you can't see them, or taste them, you can't touch or smell them? These things are everywhere. In your house, in your kitchen, in your bathroom, in your backyard, at the park, at school, they're all over the place.

It's important to wash fruits and vegetables before you eat them. Even fruits and vegetables that have firm surfaces such as oranges, melons, potatoes and carrots need to be washed. Wash them with water only; you don't need to use soap.
